How much filament does a 3D print use?+
It depends on the model volume, infill and walls. Drop in a sliced G-code or 3MF file for the exact grams, or estimate from volume × material density × infill.
How do I calculate filament cost per gram?+
Divide the spool price by its weight in grams (e.g. €25 / 1000 g = €0.025/g). PrintDesk3D does this and multiplies by the grams your print uses.
